Handwrapped. Slow-cooked. Made the way Grandmama taught us — with real pork, real corn husks, and real love.
Every tamale is folded by hand, never mass-produced. Fresh corn husks, fresh filling, every single morning.
We steam them low and slow so the flavors meld deep into every bite — no shortcuts, no rush.
Three generations of Cajun know-how packed into every corn husk. These aren't just tamales — they're heritage.
Our Story
Landry's Hot Tamales started the way most good things in Louisiana do — at a kitchen table, with a rolling pin, corn husks drying on the windowsill, and a whole lot of family around the stove.
What began as Sunday suppers for neighbors and cousins grew into something bigger: a spot on Main Street where anyone can walk in, grab a warm tamale, and taste what happens when tradition isn't rushed.
We still wrap every tamale by hand. We still steam them low and slow. And we still believe that the best food doesn't need a fancy menu — it just needs honest ingredients and someone who cares.
